national credit shoppers-millennium nationwide cellular scam rip offs
national credit shoppers sent me a postcard style letter saying im approved for a credit limit of $4000.00, then after 3mths of payments of at least $33.00, i would get in the mail a major credit card.
along with the $199.99 fee they requested, they would sent me gift certificates valuing $200.00 plus a motorola cell phone at no charge, therefore i would be getting my $199.99 dollars back in merchandise.
well, along with the 35%, the 15% and taxes, you couldn't use the certificates towards the downpayment or anything else, therefore i still have them.
when i got the cell phone from millennium nationwide cellular i had to pay an activation charge of $25.00 which would be rebated to me after activation, i never recieved.
millennium nationwide cellular after receiving my activation fee took the numbers off my check and started taking $10.00 a week out of my checking account for what they call an on demand account, which i checked the box declining them to do this.
this has been going on since aug.6, 2001. i have sent certified letters to both these companys on nov. 19,2001 which i havn't heard anything from them.
my last count to date, 12-01-01, millennium has taken 160.00 from my checking account.
i got taken and would love to get even with them and i would really enjoy getting my money back, that's alot of money and i don't want them to have it. thank you for your time. sincerely, tina l thresher
