National Grant Conference ripoff Boca Raton Florida
National Grant Conference promised to coach and teach my partners and I about grant writing. We have six months of service that came with the initial investment of $1200.00. I have been in contact with my assigned counselor at least four times a week. I found a unit I wanted to write a RFG (Reason For Grant) on, and that is where the run around started. My counselor wanted me to contact HUD to get some information, which I did, she gave me some question to ask HUD, which I did. When I began to ask about grant writing help she sent me the same questions to ask HUD again. This happened for about three weeks. She told me that a Grant would not help me. That is when I told my counselor what I was told at the conference I attended. I told her that I felt like we have wasted our money and time, now they want to talk to the person who's name appeared first on the voucher. I am unable to get my counselor to work with me on grants. She avoids it every time I mention it.
I finally got fed up, and file a complaint.
National Grant Conference had not delivered what was promised. All of the partners on our voucher agree on this. This is wrong and needs to stop.
