I received a call about a month ago from someone stating that since I had been paying my taxes on time, that I was to receive a refund from the government of $500.00 per month for the next 6 months. This gentleman even had all of my information, including my banking information. of course I thought that this was suspicious so I just hung up the phone. The man indeed called me again the next morning and repeated the same situation over again about the government refund, but I still did not agree to anything or give out any of my personal information. That was a month ago. Now here it is today ( a month later) and I find out from my bank that a automatic withdrawal of $299.95 had been taken out of my bank account. And come to find out from my bank that another $29.95 had been taken out of my account 2 weeks ago. None of this was authorized.

I called my bank and they gave me a number to call. When I called this number I was told that I had authorized these people to take money out out my account. After a heated argument with the salesperson, I asked to speak with his supervisor. I was then told that all of the supervisors were in an emergency meeting but that my account had been cancelled. But i had to call back the next day to confirm that the account had been cancelled and to fing out whether or not I would be refunded my money.
