We got a flyer on our door in Henderson for a Model Home Furniture Sale in a neighborhood nearby. What a neat concept . . . buying the furniture out of model homes after they are sold.

I went to the sale and it was not in THE model homes but in a home that had been sold by the building company and being sold right away from a realtor. The home was full of furniture set up, living room sets, bedroom sets, mattresses. We decided to buy a bed.

I purchased it with a credit card thinking I was covering myself from being taken for the money. Thankfully the machine was not "broken". We were told they were extremely busy but we could expect delivery to be in 3 weeks. The date came. I called the number to confirm if we were getting it delivered the next day . . . had to leave a message. I did receive a call back. The furniture wasn't shipped yet...in another week.

We called at the week mark. Notice the voicemail box was full. Called later, not full ...hmmmm. They are checking their messages. Took a trip to the 3111 Valley View address...no sign of business. Called the credit card company to inform them the NHF had charged my card in the previous month but I had received no product. They would credit out account and look into the matter.

Receive a call from NHF saying they could deliver the next day. They gave me an address incase I wanted to pick it up.

5280 Valley View Blvd - behind Freezee Paint

Picked it up with a rude comment from NHF. Glad to have gotten my stuff, finally.

This report is erroneous. First, our company provides furniture for builders and designers in California, Nevada, and Arizona, and the fact that the mailbox is full, which is frequently is, means only that we ARE in business and extremely busy. Second, we are not a store and work by appointment only at the Las Vegas warehouse, so in order to schedule something, you need to reach us FIRST.

Third, and most important, this customer did PICK UP their furniture for which I am sure they are satisfied. If you go to Walker Furniture you can spend up to 5 times as much as our prices for the same stuff and you have to DRIVE TO THEIR WAREHOUSE OFF SITE OFF THE 95 AND CHEYENNE. Be thankful you were able to purchase furniture of the same quality as cheaply as you did.

I have no basis for this report filed other to advise any future customers to call us DIRECTLY at: 702-610-4300 and speak to us directly about any questions, orders, concerns, etc.
