National Home Protection RIPOFF Do not pay a claims, POOR Customer Service, Liars New York New York
Filed 2 claims with these people. One for Hot Water Heater.
Repair service came out and said needed replacement. Waited 8 days before they finally called me back (after 10 calls and several Emails to them) and said
"not normal wear and tear - not covered."
On my second claim for a microwave oven.
Again a repair man came out. I paid him the $45 service call.
He said microwave had burned area exposed metal arching causing damage to Magnetron Cavity and can not be repaired.
Again I had to continually call them.
After 12 days and on hold for an hour they took my name and number and and said they will call back.
They did call back and said we tried to call you 2 days before. This was a total lie as I have caller ID and answering system.
They then said " NOT NORMAL WEAR AND TARe - Will not pay claim"
They could have told me this earlier.
They also keep saying "READ YOUR CONTRACT - THESE ARE NOT COVERED'
Summary- THEY DO NOT PAY CLAIMS, LIE, Have the RUDINEST customer Service (make that NON-CUSTOMER SERVICE) and the worst phone system I have ever delt with.
This company should not be in business.
