National Humane Society www.humanesocietynational.org Is this a real charity or way to scam your money? Internet
I do not mind donating money for worthy charities, but I am suspicious when it is too good to be true. National Humane Society as the name implies is an organization that helps animals. They have a raffle once or twice a year where you can win a Porsche , Mercedes or other expensive car or cash for just one hundred dollar donation. Sounds great, but when I asked who is donating the cars or how they can give away these expensive prizes , no response.
If you check their website, you see no sponsors of the cars are listed. If you check the past winners pictures, you may notice no one poising with the car they won or pictures of handshakes with the representatives of the organization, etc. This is very suspicious. I hope I am wrong but, it seems to good to be true. Is there anyone else feel the same way?
