In Jan 2008 I was also contact by National Imaging to "test" their toner cartridge - no price given. We received the cartridge, then an invoice soon after. I told them I was under the impression it was a free cartridge, but that we would pay for it - however their price was WAY to expensive. They reduced the price and we paid the invoice.

A couple months later a guy called, said he wanted to send me a wal-mart gift card as a "thank-you" and I specifically said - I will only accept the card if it does not obligate me to anything. He said oh no, we have vendors that want to get you in their stores, so we do these promotions and we just want you to keep us in mind for future purchases. I received the gift card - and a case of 5 additional cartridges! I wrote on the box "return to sender", but was in the middle of a move from that office and did not realize evidently UPS doesn't use the same poastal rules - "return to sender" doesn't work!

So, of course we receive this bill, which I ignore until they start calling endlessly. I told the lady we did NOT order them. She said well we sell them by the case and you bought one, here is the rest of the case. I told her I was not aware of how they sold them, but I didn't order them. She said we were past the 30 day (or 28 day or whatever) to return, so there would be a 20% restocking fee. We went around and around for about a month and I told her if she could get the price down to what we normally pay - fine! So, we paid!

Today, guess what - I have a phone call from Mike at National Imaging. I'm not calling back and if I by chance answer the phone, I'm going to be sure to record the conversation and let him know I will NOT be scammed again by this company.

Their cartridges work fine - why can't they just be a good company and they might earn some business!!!!
