National Imaging Systems, Inc., Victoria Jean & Heather White A telemarketer sent us a 'free' ink cartridge we didn't want & then called to harrass us for payment. Van Nuys California
I'm a Receptionist for a large moving & storage company. A couple of months ago, I received a phone call from a lady who said she wanted to send us a 'free' ink cartridge for our printer. I told her that I already had one, but she sent it to us anyways. I did not approve this order as we had no use for it. I am required to answer the phones & have no authority on making product decisions that will effect our company.
About a month later, I received an invoice, in my name, for the amount of $198.99. I immediately called the customer service line & spoke to Heather, who was extremely rude to me. She informed me that it was verbally approved (because I answered the phone) & if we didn't want it, we should send it back at our company's expense. I told her that if we wanted to order another ink cartridge, we would have just ordered one through our current vendor for only $58.05, not $198.99.
After informing Heather that we had no intention on paying for the unwanted product, we received several harrassing calls from her supervisor, Victoria Jean. She said she'd refuse to take our ink cartridge back now & told us that we will be forced to pay for it.
