Complaint Review: National Lendings Group

We were approved for a $12,000 loan. National Lendings Group requested we pay $1330 collateral payment for 7 months. They then asked for an additional $1330 and we were told we would not have to pay any more and the money would be put in our account within 5 hours. The money was not there and we were told we had to pay $800 in taxes because the lender was in Canada. When the money wasn't there we called and were told we had to pay $600 for brokerage fees. We decided not to pay that and asked for our money back and were told it could not be put back until April 1st. When it wasn't put back in our account we called the 800 number and were told "GoodBye" by an automated service. We sent an e-mail and have not heard anything from them. They owe us approximately $3500.
