National Loan Assistance Program National home loan assistance program ripped us of for 3,170.00 yes with the promise to change lower the payment interest and put two months on the back of the Loan DO NOT TRUST THESE DISHONEST PEOPLE you will never see anything done for you they take your money and Run!! My husband whom is pending a heart transplant was very Ill this past August 2008 we got behind with our mortgage payment for September and October.

The National home loan assistance program called a man named Ralph had promised the world to us. He could get the two payments on the back of the loan lower us to 5% and lower the payment by 1000.00 dollars. After a week of speaking to Ralph then the numbers were no good not in the internet or any number they had given us.

He then said First we must pay 3170.00 to get the whole program started and wire the funds to him. ( As I had to borrow this money). I then faxed over everything he requested paystubs hardship letter etc. This was sent on October 21st 2008 and we wired funds from Washington Mutal bank to them.

We were told not to talk to the mortgage company to inform them we were in contract with NHLAP. On Nov 27th my mortgage company reassured me there was nobody speaking on my behalf.

I then called NHLAP and now a girl named Ashley explained to me it is just the collectors trying to scare you. But you must make a mortgage payment by Dec 4th . I asked for Ralph she stated they had to fire him and they are sueing him. I called my mortgage company and they said Yes a girl name Ashely called and asked if you were in foreclosure ?

On Dec 15th my husband went there in person because again the new numbers we had are no longer any good. My husband asked for numbers and faxes that worked. He then asked what was going on that our mortgage company said they never even received a package on us again no one working on our behalf to modifiy. Then a Ria told him it would all be done by Jan 15th dont let them scare him.

On Jan 2 my husband and I went there together in person to ask for a refund and was told by a Jessica the accounting department was closed and she did not know the girls name who worked in the accounting department to call back on Monday. I called monday and spoke to Ria who said to me " You are not getting your 3170.00 dollars back because you are in Breech of Contract. What i have is not a contract it states this would be done in six weeks it is now going on four months. Ria also stated to me dont you think its funny that they knew asheley name? Ria also stated to me your mortgage company is lying to you.

I explained to her at this point nothing is funny they knew her name because Ashley only picked up the phone and called to ask a question we could have asked ourselves. She then promised to communicate going forward once a week and as of today not a word.

I myself had to make arrangments with my mortgage company to help me.

Yesterday I spoke to my Mortgage company and they stated there is still no one working for us that they can see in any notes. I myself have been working with the homesavers department. These people are extremely dishonest and took advantage of us in serious time of crisis which is not helping my husbands condition. Please public beware of there scan... as I am now trying to pay back my home loan and a personal loan and Massive medical bills.
