National Magazine Exchange/NME ripoff misleading blatant-lies aggressive evasive crediting-devastating harrassment rip-off con-artist no-account fraud agency Clearwater Florida
i agreed to receive free-trial magazines, and never received the promised option/paperwork/confirmation information necessary to cancel any subscriptions. when i finally reached a real, breathing, non-automated "service representative", i was informed that my time limit to cancel had already expired, and i was already receiving late payment charges!!!!!
i demanded cancellation to no avail. the account was turned over to a collection agency and to avoid any further bank or credit card overdraft charges($30 eachx 6)and credit report damage, i was forced to pay the final balance of approx. $180.
i requested a list of available mags. in december 2002, to change subscription selections from vogue, rolling stone, organic style, seventeen, and disney adventure ( i am 27& in med.school for behavioral psychiatry) and have received no further mailings or info to date.
sure hope this report helps anyone!!! NME is worst thing thats happened to my finacial situation EVER! fraud. pure and simple.

Here is info that might help you. Our Toll-free Customer service number is 1-800-235-7374. They are the ones that help you switch magazines and if you bought our 4 year package you definitely want that if you want to change your mags. That should get you a living breathing person don't know what numbers you were given to call before but that is the only customer service number we have. Customer service is open 9 am - 10 pm EST Monday through Friday they are also open on Saturday but i think its only from 9-5 (they just started that so i'm not sure of the hours).
Hope that helps you out.
