National Magazine Exchange ripoff Clearwater Florida
I got a call from National Magazine Exchange yesterday and they were trying to get me to buy some magazines, and I (very foolishly) agreed.
After that, I found out this website, then I knew this was a scam, so I reported to my bank and told them I have lost my credit card(it is a debit card actually).
Is this the right thing I should do and can it stop they charge me?

I have been called by these people also. I never recieved a mailer from them. So what are you saying people are calling them? I think it is a scam to get people to buy magazines they will never get. I'm glad Koon found out before he or she got ripped off.

you bought magazines you are obviously happy with and they went over billing I ASSUME. The problem is that NME does NOT call you. They send out mailers for you to call THEM. Those type of calls are one of the reasons many think NME is the scam artists. canceling your card is more of a hassel than calling the bank and saying you don't want to pay. The bank won't charge your account and you still have a valid card.
