National Magazine Exchange aka Special Data Processing, is a job that a lot of us work at. I dont agree on anything that they do. But it gets me the money that I need. The one rebuttal I know that we use is that " THERE IS NEVER A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT REQUIRED TO ENTER OR WIN ANY OF THE SWEEPSTAKES WE OFFER"

So get over it. I am sorry if youve been screwed, and think that you would have a higher chance in you winning if you bought the magazines. Thats your own fault! So stop bitching and complaining. Everyone that works in the same building as me, may or may not agree with me.. yeah I hate the place and I hate dealing with you guys all day, but its something that puts food on the table and keeps a roof over my head. Its also helping my way through college. Its a job, we work there, to get PAID. So dont sit here and write complaints about how we are the jerks that talked you into buying the magazines.

If you have been screwed next time you call, pay more attention to what the rep is saying. We have scripts that we have to follow. We get recored and we have people listening to our phone calls to make sure everything is said correctly. If not we get written up and sometimes fired. I think the problem is ... you all just dont wanna pay for any of the magazines anymore.. so you come on here. just like a divorce.. you blame all the troubles on the spouse.

YOU DONT WORK HERE! SO STOP Complaining! THIS PLACE MAY SUCK BUT YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO SIT HERE AND COMPLAIN.. IF ANYTHING WE SHOULD BE COMPLAING ABOUT YOU ALL !!! GO TO H@#$

Action to take

#18UPDATE EX-employee responds

Tue, October 12, 2004

Steve:

First off you can pretty much discount any report from the BBB. This website has demonstrated many times that those Companies that pay their dues in a timely fashion never receive harsh treatment from them, sort of a dues paying "protection racket".

If you have genuine issues with SDP, the law firm of James, Hoyer, Newcomer and Smiljanich, PA. are handeling one or two class action suits against the company. Their investigator is Ron Jordan, and they will evaluate your complaint. Their number in Tampa is 813-286-4100.

Consider also the fact Steve that SDP management monitors this site and may be responding to some of these messages for reasons of spin control and the deflection of bad publicity. Melissa failed to mention in her epistle to you that the FTC claims against SDP resulted in a fine of over a HALF MILLION DOLLARS being levied against the company just last month. So you can take the word fraud out of quotation marks Melissa. The company was at least smart enough to see the writing on the wall with Triad (Trilegent to the rest of the world) but only cut their ties with them in early 2003. They still upsell and are just as fast and loose sharing your credit card information with their partners as they ever were.

As to Quality Assurance, their primary purpose is to harass and evesdrop on their own employees, even BETWEEN calls to uncover anti-company leanings. Yes, Orwell is alive and well at SDP. The rank and file of this group is on the whole made up of burnt out or "underachieving" SSA's and Verifiers who couldn't do their own jobs properly and now judge the work quality of their betters. I left the company over those clowns when I legally revoked my permission for them to monitor my pre sales calls. You see Steve I was being "profiled" by the company because I had blown the whistle on them with the Florida Attorney General for unethical and possibly illegal conduct.

Tell ya what Melissa, instead of telling Dave Macey HI from Steve tell him HI from Chuck DeNova instead, there will be a reaction worth seeing.

Steve, I appreciate the fact that you saw fit to report these criminals. The fact that they are located in Florida doesn't surprise me bit. It's always either FL, CA or NY where criminals pick to set up shop. Oh yeah, sometimes Atlanta.

Don't pay these people any mind who continue to make fools of themselves by posting rebuttals against your claim. They are fools and criminals. Any time an honest person disagrees with such idiots typically they start hollering racism, prejudice, hate, etc. That's typical of their liberal breed. Obviously they were raised by bleed heart knee jerk liberals who didn't instill in their off-spring a sense of decency. Typical.

Yes I too wish that one of the hurricanes had taken these loud mouthed bitches out, but I have a few honest friends living in W. Palm Beach. They're actual from Virgina, but their jobs took them to FL so that they could provide knowledge to folks who typically don't have enough sense to get in out of the rain.

What you need to do is get a lawyer and sue their asses off. If it were me, I'd just find out where they're located and stomp the s**t out of somebody. You've got the area codes now. Find a Private Detective in the area and go get what is coming to you: a little revenge against the criminals who stole from you. Don't give up now!

The fact that they say that the heads of the company are the ones stealing. That it's not them is absolutely ridiculous. People like these can rationalize anything. They make they're money working for a company who cheats to stay in the black. Now how is that honest work? I can't believe that our government doesn't step in and shut underhanded companies like this down.

P.S. It's amazing what people like Tatianna, Melissa and Alexandria will say when they can say it without having to look you in the eye. I wonder if they'd have the same things to say if you were standing next to them. I think not. They are truly cowards. They wouldn't know honesty if it slapped in the face. That's what they need.

As for the FTC the 1st report I read, the "fraud" last took place in 1999. The 2nd report was from 2000. Ok, not too long ago, but the company has changed their ways and made everything they do LEGAL since then. BTW, we are no longer associated with Triad which most of these reports are in regards to. All in all, there were 7 reports, some of which were duplicates. These reporst speak of things that I do not deny happened, but in fact happened 4 years ago. There is nothing recent in these reports.

Now, Steve, "killing you with kindness" isn't a THREAT... it's a promise. I abide by my company's COE while I am on the clock. Again Steve, I am not on the clock here, yet I still continue to debate with you. This is actually kinda fun *smile*
When I see Dave at work tomorrow, I'll make sure I tell him "hello" for you, ok??
Oh and Steve, you never did tell me how I came off to you as being RACIST... TTYL

Well, you just can't stop shoving your foot into your mouth!

The facts still remain with the BBB in Florida, as of today's date, your company has over 900 complaints listed with the BBB.

The DA has numerous issues reported about your company as well, and the FTC has put your guys under invesigation.

Each time you rebuttal, it is copy and sent to all 3 teams.

Thank you for reponding, as they now have a few names to go by. I'm sure the word "killing" will be used as evidence, due to its negative nature, and threat.
AND I'M SURE THEY WOULD BE GLAD TO KNOW THIS>>>

How do you figure I am racist from my post?!?!

Sun, October 10, 2004

That's the funniest thing I've EVER heard besides your paranoia. My husband would agree being that he is black and I am white. I hear a lil' guilty conscious in your words Steve...

We don't ask for or require social security #'s... and the only way we could have gotten your cc # is that either you, your spouse/roomate/son/daughter/neice/nephew/theif gave it to us and ordered magazines in your name and was also nice enough to enter YOU into the million dollar sweepstakes.

As for non stop mailings, we will with NO PROBLEM enter you onto our companies No Call No Mail list. It's not our fault if YOUR cc company sells us your name again, and again, and again.Talk to THEM about that or go to

CLICK here to see why Rip-off Report, as a matter of policy, deleted either a phone number, link or e-mail address from this Report.

As for the phone # on your mailing, we'd LOVE to get this straightened out to mail it to us so we can see the mistake and fix it.

As for stupid smart a*s reps, like myself *smile*... I'm sure you've never spoken to me personally, it's just that your pride has been injured because you realized you didn't have the money in the bank *smile*. I'm not on the clock her on Ripoffreports.com so I can be as sweet or as rude as I like. But rest assured if you get me on the line @ work I'll kill you with kindness *BIG SMILE*
As for sales reps lying, I'm sure it happens once in a while. But remeber you don't just speak to a sales rep who goes over the info on your account. Your also transferred to a billing supervisor who has no idea what the rep prior told you, except for whats on their VERBATIM script. So for them BOTH to lie about the same exact things would be quite impossible. All calls are audited for quality assurance. I even had a call today from an elderly woman who called to complain that she recieved her conformation letter to only recieve a cancellation letter 2 days later. Why? Because the quality assurance rep stated in the account notes that she didn't feel the customer accepted the magazine offer "IN SPIRIT". Hmmmmmmmm..... Needless to say the customer reordered them with me *smile*.
So, your very welcome for my Customer Service Skills.

PS - the eyedoctor will see you now. *wink*

Dear M. Fargo,

Next time you need to take a crap, wipe your *** with TP and not with your mouth! Apparantly your racist *** did not read my message, so let me explain it to you!
FTC is investigating your company for the following>
1. Phone Harrassement M-S. Proof via Southwestern Bell, and recorded phone messages
2. Stolen Credit Card and Social Security information. One of your scumbags had that info! It was never given out by me! Let me repeat this for the stupid impaired> I never gave out any credit card, nor my social security number to ANYONE. It was give out by your agent!!!
3. None stop mailings!
4. When calling the number that IS LISTED on the d**n card rings to a BALL TEAM! THIS HAS BEEN PROVEN BY SOUTHWESTERN BELL OPERATORS. Either the line in FLorida are crossed or your publisher on this scam is putting in the wrong number!
5. Stupid, and smart-a*s reps, such as yourself are making no attempts to clear this matter up. Your very mistake is blaming the customer. This is what makes people mad! Your too d**n busy polishing your ghetto nails, and not paying attention!
6. RECORDED and FALSE statements mady by reps. It's a proven fact that people who make commissions in a business such as yours, tend to LIE to a customer. In which in this case, clearly will do the opposite. Meaning, when I said "NO", your rep, in order to get the commission, said "YES".
So there you are, six (6) issues, recorded and being investigate by the FTC, and the BBB.

It's no laughing matter anymore. Every statement made in the "Rip-off Report Rebuttal" is also being used as well.
So, personally, Thank you for making your Customer Service Skills be known.

I place plenty of people on the no call no mail list everyday. Put your glasses on next time, and try dialing the right #. Are you sure you even have the right company? If you got "took" by us, I'm sure you like most others that got took by Sweepstakes Clearing House, NV or one of the many other companys out there. The #'s work because in an 8 hour shift I speak to at least 45 or more people.
*WE DON'T CALL YOU, YOU CALL US.
*THROW THE MAIL PIECE AWAY.
*SAY NO. NOT WHATEVER, OKAY, OR EVEN UM.
*DONT GET UP AND GO GET YOUR CREDIT CARD, READ IT TO THE BILLING SUPERVISORS, AND THEN DENY DENY DENY. THERE'S NO OTHER WAY WE COULD HAVE GOTTEN THAT INFO IF YOU DIDN'T READ IT TO US. IF YOU CAN'T AFFORD IT, HANG UP.
*YOUR CONFIRMATION LETTER STATES YOU HAVE 7 DAYS TO CANCEL FROM THE DATE YOU RECIEVE THAT LETTER. SO CALL WITHIN THAT TIME PERIOD.
*DON'T ORDER THE MAGAZINES WITHOUT TALKING TO YOUR SIGNIFICANT OTHER FIRST.
*CUSSING WILL NOT RESOLVE YOUR ACCOUNT AND WILL RESULT IN THE REP TERMINATING THE CALL.
*AS SOON AS YOU GIVE THAT ACCOUNT INFO YOUR ORDER IS PROCESSED, SO IF YOUR MAXED OUT, WELL OF COURSE YOU'RE GOING TO GET AN OVERDRAFT FEE - DUH
*CHECKS OVER THE PHONE CAN BE POSTDATED, CC/DEBITCARDS CANNOT.

WISE UP PEOPLE.
WE'RE NOT THE SCAM ARTISTS. ALL YOU SUDDENLY BLIND, DYING, CAR TROUBLED, MOVING OUT OF THE COUNTRY, BROKE, JUST GOT LAID OFF/FIRED/QUIT MY JOB, MY DAUGHTER/SON/GRANDCHILDREN/BROTHER/SISTER/HUSBAND/WIFE DID THIS, YOU FORCED ME, MY PURSE/WALLET GOT STOLEN, GIVE ME FREE FREE FREE FREE FREEEEEE PEOPLE OUT THERE ARE.

Gurl! You are such a dumb A*@. What everyone is complaining about, INCLUDING me is your telemarketing techniques are illegal. You call us 7-9 pm in the evening, and telling people they have won the Grand Prize!
After 10 calls from your sorry company, I've had to file a lawsuit with the Federal Trade Commission to have your guys stop calling me. **Let me make it clear to you, I've not purchase any magazines, or any other services from your company, plus I and Bank of America is wondering how your reps got hold of my Credit Card? The reason I know your company has it, is because your stupid agent read it off to me!!

Oh btw, your company's number for customers to call back to get their phone number removed from your list, does not even belong to your company. Call it and you'll see!
And finally, I'm glad you are working. I too have money problems, and I get very angry when telemarketing firms "rip-off" the public!
When you get a chance, find a better job! Stressing out to defend this company is not worth it!

Tatianna, people have a right to complain.

After all, you are cheating them!

What if someone cheated you? Wouldn't you complain?

What if I deducted some money out of your bank? Is that OK? How about $150? That's not much.

So, think about it! What if I stole $150 from you?

Are you going to keep quiet and say nothing?

Try a fast-food job instead. People will actually get something for their money. They will feel better and so will you.

Try doing something that helps the world instead of always stealing for a living.
