The National Mortgage Help Center is a Joke!!  Avoid these people at all Costs!!  The review I just read is all true.  I just went through a lengthly process, 11 months people, and no modification.  In fact, I am in a way worse position than I was when I started with them.  I actually hired them to modify two loans of mine after being promised that I 100% qualified for both loan modifications.  I too was told, "DO NOT MAKE ANY MORE PAYMENTS, IT MAKES IT HARDER TO OBTAIN YOUR MODIFICATION" by Tanya.  She also told me that while going through a modification, your credit wouldn't be compromised because it was against the law for the bank to report non mortgage payments to the credit bureau when going through a legal modification.  Well guess what?  Not True.

I am now facing the sale of one of my properties and the other "hopefully" will be reinstated but at the same interest rate and I am now 11 months behind on both.  I will be LUCKY if the one is reinstated and not sold too!!  Rick Nelson is another one who is a joke.  They promise the audits up front, but I have yet to see that either.  It was never done, and they tell me that only certain loans get the audits and due to the circumstance on my loans, it wouldn't have done any good anyway. Do the audits even exist?  I seriously don't think so as it is another way to charge up front fees since modifications are not supposed to cost anything.

After two weeks of not hearing from anybody at this so called loan modification firm, Rick finally emailed a UTUBE video to watch and said go after the banks this way??  In other words...see you later, you are now on your own!!!  The sale date on one house is this Monday August 15th.

I have tried to get a hold of Jennifer Williams who is supposed to be the attorney there.  Yes, I did check her out through the Lawyer.com site to see if she is legitimate.  No marks against her at all.  Seems to be up and up however, I have yet to get an email from her, phone call etc. You can best believe I am filing a complaint with the Bar.  These people have taken the fees from me and created a more serious hardship on me than I was in before.  STAY AWAY FROM THIS FIRM AND THESE PEOPLE.  THEY ARE SCAM ARTISTS!!!

Wrong Company Name! NOT National Mortgage Help Center

#2General Comment

Sat, December 31, 2011

This is to clear up some confusion over our name, National Mortgage Help Center at www.nmhcenter.org, and the company that is being reported in this Ripoff Report: National Legal Help Center / Williams Litigation (http://www.nationallegalhelp.com/). National Legal Help Center / Williams Litigation has no affiliation what so ever with the National Mortgage Help Center.

Since weve been established for over 15 years and run national TV campaigns, we are well known and many people tend to get us confused, especially since our name is so generic. There are many fake and real businesses that use the name "National Mortgage Help Center" or similar to it. Please be aware and watch out for scams. We have a whole Consumer Alert section of our website at www.nmhcenter.org.

Thank you,
