Do not book a move through the National Moving Network. The NMN served as the moving broker in my move from Chicago to Atlanta. They quoted me a price of $1300 to move my belongings estimated to weight 2500 pounds. I was verbally promised that no one bedroom apartments ever weigh more than this amount.

The NMN hired AY Transport as my movers. From the onset, it was apparent that they were scam artists. When I asked for a box to wrap my 22' screen TV, they wanted to charge me $50. They wanted another $90 for the mattress and box spring boxes. They even tried to charge me $100/box for the wardrobe boxes (they settled on $15/box).

The day after they picked up my belongings, I called them to find out the amount due upon delivery. Supposedly, my items weighed 4560 pounds, and thus, my move totaled almost $3300! In addition, they no longer would deliver in Atlanta on the promised delivery dates.

At this point, I started researcing these two companies on the internet and realized that they have a history of scam schemes such as mine. The long and short of the story is that I was able to get my belongings out of storage in Chicago (for $1300), and they only weighed 1800 pounds!

Please, please save yourself the headache. No matter how good a quote they promise, do not book with them. They are unethical liars and scam artists.
