I paid National Moving Network (NMN) to find a moving compnay for my move from California to Utah. The representative that sold the moving services to me told me that the move would automatically be insured for $15,000 regardless of the actual company doing the moving.

As it turned out, they sub-contracted Right On Time Moving (they have numerous rip-off reports here as well), and that moving company was 3 weeks late delivering my household items, and they caused $3,000 worth of damage. Neither ROT or NMN will acknowledge the $15,000 insurance. NMN will not acknowledge the insurance at all and ROT says that the insurance is based on pounds, not a dollar value. This is exactly the opposite from what NMN told me.

In short, NMN lied through their teeth in order to make a sale. They said I would have $15,000 insurance, but that was an outright lie. They will not return my phone calls or emails. I have reported them to the BBB but nothing has changed.
