National Paltinum ripoff, scam! Internet
I was taken too! I was applying for an online payday loan. I cancelled the loan, I had changed my mind. So, I was online looking at my bank statement and there was a charge of $49.95 on my debit. I got a hold of my bank, and they informed me of the 800#, so I called, and called and called! I finally got some loser who answered the phone, and this is actually what she said to me..."When people are online applying for a payday loan they usually don't pay close attention and that's how we get your authorization!"
I couldn't believe what she was telling me, then she wanted my license #, bank #, SSN, I asked her if she was crazy that I wasn't about to give her any information and I asked if I could speak to a manager, and she advised me she was the manager! I had to hang up I was so angry!
So far my bank has been great in trying to assist me, I filed a fraud claim and did a stop payment on any further debits from National Paltinum. From everyhthing I have read I am in for a good fight! And the woman I spoke to could hardly even quit her *&*& slang long enough to figure out what she was even saying!
