National Park Reservations Buyer Beware! This Company is a Rip-Off Artist! They are 3rd party reservation service! Do not do biz w/ these crooks! Internet
Buyers beware! This company, National Park Service, is operating under unethical and deceptive business practices! I've stumbled onto their website trying to reserve some lodging for our trip to Yosemite National Park this coming August. We were looking to compare rates between different lodges, and this site offered several properties. The website asked us to select three different properties, with the impression that it would return availability and rates for us to choose. But, this was not the case! Again, buyer beware! They asked us for our credit card number in order to for us to get quotes. At this point, there was still no alert and/or a disclaimer stating that once we accepted their terms, they will book us a reservation and charge us a non-refundable 10% cancellation fee! We were livid, when we received a reservation they made for us--without providing us with any choices and/or room/price comparisons! We spoke with Francisco and he was enjoying the fact that he made money off of us. We were willing to look at other properties, if he'd offered. But, his enjoyment made us realized we were not going to give this crook anymore of our money! We ended up cancelling our reservation, and of course, they would not refund the cancellation fee!
Please learn from our lesson and stay away from this deceptive and unethical website and business! These crooks make money off the 10% cancellation fee. National Park Reservation not only lost potential customers for life
