I went online looking for a Cash advance loan. I entered my bank account information along with my routing number and my checking account was charged $49.95 for a shopping card from National Platinum.

This company is hiding behind a Cash Advance company and when you apply and accept the disclosures for the Cash Advances loans you are agreeing to purchase a membership from them.

Steven from North Carolina stated that the customer should have read the information and she would have known what she was signing up for. Well, we need to tell these companies to stop hiding behind Cash Advance Loans companies under false pretense to rip off consumers!!!

If I am trying to obtain a Cash Advance Loan, Next Payday Loan, etc. National Platinum, USA Platinum, etc. should have known that I did not have any monies to pay for a consumer shopping card.

Patricia (Cartersville, Georgia) and I was hoodwinked by this company. She is disabled and unable to call loan distance to contact this company. Well, I have called this company several times, but to no avail. They have an answering machine that explains why you are being charged and I was placed on hold for approximately 30 minutes to an hour and no one ever answered the line.

If these companies are so good --- they need to stand alone and stop hiding behind other companies to make monies off consumers!!!

Read Terms and Conditions First

In response to the customer's report, our application is indeed located on the loan; however, you have to check the 'yes' button, and there's a paragraph stating 'by accepting this offer, you authorize the same information that you provided above to be sent to National Platinum. In addition, you hereby authorize National Platinum to debit your bank account for the one time enrollment fee.'

It is the consumer's responsibility to read any and all Terms and Conditions, FAQ's (frequently asked questions) or at least contact that company BEFORE enrolling to find out exactly what he/she is applying for.

Why would one provide all of their personal and confidential information on an online application before reading everything first?

Alice forgot to mention that she did speak with an agent and the agent was very polite, explained in detail what she signed up for, and also advised the customer that she will receive a full refund.

We are not hiding behind cash advance companies nor are we conducting business under false pretenses.

It'd be alot easier on the customer service agents and the customers themselves if they read first.
