I was also applying for a loan and got offered a card from National Platinum, I checked the no box and was charged twice within two days, the funds were available so I lost almost one hundred dollars. I want my money back, I have a new baby to support and was honestly looking for a loan, what would I do with a shopping card? I have a shopping card that I only used once, it cost me more than I could ever use with it. This has caused me a great deal of emotional distress. I need my money.

Tiffany,

I just posted a report that MAY be helpful to you in collecting your money. I'm sorry to hear that you have gone through this, especially with a new baby and financial difficulties already. Keep your eye out for a report submitted 8/13 by Adelita.

And Hope,

Shame on you for trying to shame and belittle others who file reports about your company on this site! You stated you looked up a Tiffany in Hendersonville and there was no such person in your system. If YOU carefully read the registration information posted on THIS website you would know that people are encouraged to change their name and location if they are concerned about any form of reprissal!

And enough with the garbage that "you MUST have applied"! There are simply too many people who have experienced the exact same problem with attempting to sign up for a cash loan and then ending up with charges from your company for services that were NOT requested. Perhaps the loan site has set up their SUBMIT button to transfer all info to you and indicate the loan applicant was interested in your services. This is obvioulsy speculation...I don't know how it is happening. But I DO know that it IS happening...people are getting ripped off by the company for which you work for services that they have not requested...and who may not even know it until it's too late to cancel the enrollment. I only caught it because I am very vigilant about checking out my account info...otherwise I would have had no idea that you even existed!!!

You, too, will probably be interested in reading my report.

I have a question for you...how do you NP reps sleep at night knowing that you're defending a company that may be stealing food out of a babies mouth?! Tiffany indicated in her original report that she had just had a new baby and was needing a cash loan. And what she got instead was NP stealing money out of her account, and a smarta$$, degrading response from you! Wow, you sure aren't scoring well on the compassion scale!!!

I did call the company, we had applied for the pay day loan in my husbands name. His name is James. We also do know for a fact that we declined the offer for the National Platinum Card. Even though we checken the no box, when we submitted the application, our bank was automatically charged. I guess that you fool people into thinking that you can check no and still submit the application when in fact, if you submit the application National Platinum immediatly gets your info. Whether you want them to or not. I would just like my money back, plus the 30 dollar fee from the bank. I know that the bank charged me the fee, but I wouldn't have incurred the fee had it not been for National Platinum.

We tried locating a Tiffany in Hendersonville, but there's no one by that name in the system. If you did call, we could have assisted you.

Just posting a complaint on website doesn't help anyone.

When you apply for something, anything-on the internet or phone, or even mail, you must read everything about the offer, the Terms and Conditions, the entire application BEFORE you apply.

It's only common sense.

And the only way anyone could receive your information, you actually have to check the yes button. If you did indeed say 'no' then there's no way the application would've been forwarded.

If you haven't called, the best thing to do is to call so we may assist you.
