Over the summer the company "Readers Club of America" called me to sign up for their magazines, it sounded legit, so I did.

They billed me once and for the last 4 months I thought I got them off my back. I just got a phone call from these guys who say they're from "National Readers Service" saying they're going to start billing me again.

I asked them to cancel but they said I made an obligation to pay them for the next 30 months. I asked to hear the voice recording saying that I agree to pay them for the next 30 months, but they refused to let me hear it.

I'm pretty sure I'm under no contract until they let me hear the voice recording of my agreeing to pay them x amount of dollars for x amount of months.

I'm considering cancelling my credit card but I'm worried in case I actually am under contract that they can report me to collections and really screw me over.

If anyone knows whats going on or how to get rid of these phone calls please let me know
