Matthew Hunzeker opened a "law firm" to negotiate real estate short sales on behalf of distressed home owners and his third parties are very good at attracting desperate homeowners to use his services but that's where the professionalism of the company ends.

The quality of the services of this firm are deteriorating rapidly.  To further diminish the credibility and productivity of his firm, Matthew Hunzeker has replaced the few true professionals in his office and replaced them with minimum wage telephone operators.  Look for his ad on Craigslist! Matthew Hunzeker hired several short sales processors to handle the files, most with neither the experience or desire to get optimal results for the clients.  Most of them are inexperienced people without any type of legal, real estate or other professional expertise leaving it to the real estate agents who hired the firm to manage the short sale.   So why are they collecting funds for this non-service?

Matthew Hunzeker pads his wallet
by charging horrendous fees for unnecessary services such as "title clearing fee" when there is no cloud on the title.  Matthew Hunzeker has had under the table arrangements with title firms to "share" settlement fees collected from the lien holders which as a member of the Bar, he knows to be illegal.

Despite being the attorney of record for these short sale clients, Matthew Hunzeker prefers to ignore them rather than actually dispensing legal advice on their cases.  Since Matthew Hunzeker is the only attorney in the firm, this leaves clients without discourse to the legal advice which they are due as clients.  This callous disregard for the welfare of his clients has resulted in several unnecessary foreclosures of his clients which could have been prevented with timely legal intervention.

Try to get anything approaching actual customer service from Matthew Hunzeker's office.  You would think for the thousands of dollars they charge, one would receive at least a phone call or email. Other than the newly hired cubicle dwellers, the rest of the office is staffed by incompetents whose only qualification is nepotism.  How they ever had jobs prior to this office is unknown unless they have a large extended family.  I doubt that most of the people there could pour piss out of a boot with directions on the heel.

That is strange because they helped me last year alot. I had a free consultation with the attorney to, and then I went in the office alot to give them documents and things. The employees were very good and proefssional. I had to stop making morgtgvage payments and was going to loose my house but they took care ofit. It took about two months and I got to stay in my house. The bank wound up making my loan lower, the whole thing.

I did recommend a co worker and my parents there too when they were moving. I only had a really positive experience. They saved my house. I would recommend them again to anyone who needs that kind of help.

National Real Estate Law Group, PLLC, NRELG, Matthew J. Hunzeker, Esq., 703-734-0026 - Short Sales Legal Assistance Scam?

#3Author of original report

Matthew James Hunzeker opened a "law firm" to negotiate real estate short sales on behalf of distressed home owners and named it National Real Estate Law Group, PLLC also advertising on their website as operating or being under the care of Matthew J. Hunzeker, Esq.

His third parties are very good at attracting desperate homeowners to use his services but that's where the apparent professionalism of the company ends.

The quality of the services of this firm are deteriorating rapidly.  To further diminish the credibility and productivity of his firm, Matthew James Hunzeker has replaced the few true professionals in his office and replaced them with minimum wage telephone operators.  Look for his ad on Craigslist!

Matthew James Hunzeker has recently hired people to handle the files, most with neither the experience or desire to get optimal results for the clients.  Most of them are inexperienced people without any type of legal, real estate or other professional expertise leaving it to the real estate agents who recommend the firm to manage the short sale.

So why is Matthew James Hunzeker collecting funds for this non-service? Matthew James Hunzeker pads his wallet by charging horrendous fees for unnecessary services such as "title clearing fee" when there is no cloud on the title to be cleared! Deceitful and less than honest? You bet!

Matthew James Hunzeker has had under the table arrangements with title firms to "share" settlement fees collected from the lien holders. Yes, that is true and the evidence is available. As a member of the Bar, he knows that this practice is not exactly legal and creates conflict of interests when he pushes people to use "preferred" title service firms that will share settlement fees with Matthew James Hunzeker.

Despite being the attorney of record for these short sale clients, Matthew Hunzeker prefers to ignore them rather than actually dispensing legal advice on their cases when needed.  Since Matthew James Hunzeker is the only attorney in the firm, this leaves clients without discourse to the legal advice which they are due as clients.

This callous disregard for the welfare of his clients has resulted in several unnecessary foreclosures of his clients homes which could have been prevented with timely legal intervention.

Try to get anything approaching actual customer service from Matthew James Hunzeker's office.  You would think for the thousands of dollars they charge, one would receive at least a phone call or email back.
