Found National Relocations Inc., interstate mover from SC to PA, on-line. I accepted low Binding Estimate. Very nice at first. Picked up items and then refused to deliver unless they received 150% of Binding Estimate, $500 more. Threatened to leave my goods on the curb. I got DOT involved, co. agreed to deliver for $180 more for packing labor and wardrobe boxes. Goods delivered 9 days after promised. Approx. $3500 in damages.

Mattresses drug over greasy dirty surfaces and corners damaged where mattress bags tore open. Flat screen TV was lost/stolen and desk was not delivered. I was told to come to MD and get the desk after the move. Expert packing amounted to putting boxes of books and boxes of breakables I had packed together into flimsy 18" wardrobe boxes. Scam to add charge for boxes and labor. Wouldn't unload or allow me to see goods on truck until I signed for delivery and paid $180 cash.

Goods were actually delivered by America Van Lines (misleading name), located in Owings, MD - also unscrupulous. National Relocations, Inc. never informed me that my goods would be handed over to some other co.
