National Seating and Mobility Horrible Staff! Lexington Kentucky

My current motorized wheelchair (Jazzy) broke down on Wednesday night, June 28, 2017.I have been working with the Tech at NSM in Lexington, Kentucky [2025 Leestown Rd, Lexington, KY 40511.

Phone: (859) 381-1440] (Bob Jones) for 4 years. So, I called him and told him of my plight. I had no other chair to use. He said he was out of town until Friday afternoon (June 30).

I waited in my van from 9 PM Wednesday (June 28) - 3 PM Friday afternoon (June 30). 42 hours. However, NSM allowed me to borrow one of their motorized wheelchairs "until I got my other one fixed." That was great. But, on Monday morning (July 3), Bob Jones calls me saying," Your chair is ruined.

It's a piece of ***! Come and get it out of my office. It's in my way." The next day NSM began calling me (Brook and Jim) saying," We need our chair back or we are going to call the police. You stole our chair." Jim actually said," I will put my hands on you and physically remove you from my chair if need be.

I know where you live" These calls kept coming for the next 2 weeks about 2-3 times a week. I have had FSH Muscular Dystrophy for 34 years. I have been purchasing motorized wheelchairs for 29 years. I have never been so harassed, disrespected and angered in my life from a company who deals with the disabled.

If I could I would open up an entire investigation on NSM in Lexington, Kentucky.

If they treated me like this, I am certain they are treating other folks with disabilities in a similar manner.Please avoid this company at all costs!
