National Small Business Alliance NSBA gave me 30 days to try for 1 dollar, but took out 509.35 from my checking account. I cancelled immediatly but can not get my money back. Washington District of Columbia
January12, 2014, I was contacted by The National Small Business Alliance by phone. They offered me a $4000.00 credit card for my business. They told me that I could try it for 30 days for 1 dollar and if I wasnt satisified for any reason, then I could cancel and owe nothing. They took my check information over the phone. They took the 1 dollar out of my account the next day, 4 days later, they took 149.95 out of my checking account without my permission or knowledge. I called them, and they said that I had agreed to let them take it out and that It was the yearly membership fee. When I received my membership material, several days later, I went on line to access my member benefits but could not find any credit card info. When I called them, they said that it was a line of credit that I had to apply for. Then they took another 359.40 out of my account causing me to bounce checks. I called and immediately cancelled my membership. I was still well within my 30 day trial, and was told that I would be getting a refund in 30 days. Every time I call to find out about my money, they hang up on me or I get a recorded message that I need to check the number and try again. When I call from a different phone number, I get right through until I adsk to speak to their supervisor. They say they are transfering me but I Always get hung up on.
I have all they dates and numbers as proof and would like to be involved in a class action lawsuite if one is started.
