Six months ago I received an introductory offer to try Street machine magazine and join their club, well everyone knows what these clubs are, they offer some little trinket now and then to keep you interested with the promise to send much more in the future which never comes, I really wasn't interested in that as much as the magazine, since I subscribe to Popular science and Popular mechanics I thought it may be similar and decided to try it, however when it came I knew right off it wasn't for me and when the invoice came I went on their site to try to cancel but could not figure out how online, I looked for a phone no. in the magazine to no avail, meanwhile the magazines stopped coming,(I only received two)and by this time decided they knew by now I wasn't interested, but this wasn;t the case, The other day after almost six months I received one of the most threatening letters I have gotten in many years, this over a magazine which I'm not receiving and havn't for many months which stated if I did not make payment my account would be turned over to a collection agency, can you believe the gall of these people over a couple magazines, well this letter did contain an 800 number which I called to cancel and also got ahold of one of their supervisors and let him know just how I felt about their company, their policies and that I intended to let as many as possible know of these things online.
