It takes a couple of months. We put you on a temporary forbearance in the meantime. I will double check and make sure that gets sent out to Great Lakes and FedLoans.

Adam Kingsbury represented himself to me as an account manager for National Student Loan Associates (NSLA). He stated that NSLA would be able to process and apply debt forgiveness to all of my student loans, as establishd by the government. I made several phone calls and sent several emails to Adam Kingsbury to establish confimation of this service, including when and how this would take place, who and how my student loan collectors (Great Lakes and FedLoans) would be notified of this agreement - above is one of his responses to this question. In my first phone conversation with Adam Kingsbury, I expressed my concern about receiving legitimate help and being assured that this was not a scam, as I am a single mom, struggling financially which was primarily why I was seeking help. He told me thtat with a series of payments, they would prepare and present all paperwork needed to my student loan institutions in order to have my student loan debt forgiven. He told me the first payment would have to be $300. but I told him I could not affort that much to be taken out of my monthly budget --- if i could I would be paying my studen loan debts. He assured me that I could break that into two paymens of 150.00. Even that was a stretch but I thought overall it will help me in the long run, so I cinched in the belt and made that payment, plus the required subsequent monthly payments of 199.00 for the following 4 months. In May, after receiving the email message above, I received an email from Great Lakes stating that my forebearance had been approved, this encouraged me of the validity of this company and Adam Kingsbury. Since then, I've received notices from Great Lakes and FedLoans telling me that my forebearance will be ending soon and am I prepared for what's next. Alarmed, I tried contacting Adam Kingsbury only to find that his extension is no longer valid. I called back trying to connect with ANYONE from this company, but keep getting only general voicemail box extension recordings or recondings saying that exension is not valid. I tried looking National Student Loan Associates up online and they no longer have a website! I've been robbed!
