National Telecom Service Slow payers won't pay finance charges Pittsburgh Pennsylvania

National Telecom subcontracted my comapny to install all the low-voltage cabling at a local business.  We completed that work in December of 2012.  After months of contacting them & repeated requests for payment we finally were able to collect in full (after contacting the end-customer as well and advising them of the issue with payment).  They made repeated agreements for payments & didn't follow through as promised.  

We asked for very little in finance charges, less than $250 on an invoice that was nearly $10K and wasn't paid for 6 months.

They responded with the following in an e-mai:

I'm just reporting this so that other small low-voltage contractors like us accross the country will know who they are dealing with and how to expect to be treated in the event you do decide to work for them.  We won't be making that mistake again.  The bottom line is that we did finally get paid but, if you are a small company like us, you may not be able to carry $10K for 6 months and if it puts you out of business they don't really care.
