We chose National Van lines to move our family from Orange County, Ca to Austin Tx. Everything went as planned with the custom packing, until the move date arrived. 6/21. The truck was to be delivered to Austin Tx. Between 6/26 & 6/27. Our belongings were loaded onto a truck, and taken to a warehouse to await the driver who was delayed for a list of reasons, yet we were assured that our drop off window was still good. Our family, 2 adults, 4 daughters, and 3 cats arrived in Austin to an empty home in time to hold up our end of the bargain and receive our goods. Only we have been informed that National never produced a driver and our shipment still sits in Anaheim ca with no projected date for pickup. We've been back & forth with numerous persons in the company today only to be told that they can now "possibly" have our belongings to us by July 8. So we are expected, with 4 little girls to stay in an empty home, no beds, not even so much as a chair to sit in for another approximately 2 weeks ( but no guarantee). Our family is in absolute tears. We are beside ourselves. I don't know how a company can let you arrange to have you move your family across the country and then simply say sorry.... We're not going to make it. We have one daughter with sensory stimulation issues and this is not going well for her. My advice would be to never trust this company with your move. We're so sad that we did.

after contacting several executives in the company we were contacted by Tim the president of the company and Jorja with customer relations. Together they assure us that our goods will be delivered (guaranteed) by Tuesday July 2 morning. Until then they will be paying for hotel, a portion of food, and a variety of other resources necessary to live as comfortably as possible. While we are not at all condoning the business practices that brought us to this point, we appreciate the gesture to right what can be righted for the meantime. I will keep consumers posted as to whether the second delivery window is honored.
