National Vehicle Protection Services OWNER Chris Riley STOLE 500k ffrom US Fidelis and is now running NVPS with Mark Govero and Eric Gerhardt.  BBB files only reflect Gerhardt and Joe Govero however a quick LinkedIn Search will show Chris Riley and Mark Govero as owners of NVPS.  Additionally these guys were fined by the Missouri Attorney General for misleading consumers, settled for a VERY small amount of 18k while making an additional $5000.00 in contributions to Chris Koster, the same AG that sued them!  Coincidence?  Seems odd.  Regardless now the VPA (Vehicle Protection Association) has listed these guys as a 'certified' company while on another pages condemns US Fidelis' actions even though it was run by the same charachters!!

All I can say is WOW!.  Don't take my word for it, see below news article:

Here is link: http://www.stltoday.com/business/local/fidelis-creditors-seek-settlement-with-former-ceo/article_6e63dcd9-c5f5-576a-8131-5d45f04f58e6.html

A committee of US Fidelis creditors wants to settle a suit it filed earlier this year accusing a former chief executive Chris Riley of fraudulently stripping at least $500,000 from the Wentzville company in the months leading up to its March 1, 2010, bankruptcy petition.

Chris Riley attempted to disguise the payment in US Fidelis books by having half of it recorded as a legal expense with the rest booked as administrative payroll and sales management expenses.

Here is a link with a cease and desist and settlement for misleading consumers by MO Attorney General Chris Koster filed May 25th, 2012:

Here is a link for Chris Riley and Mark Govero both donating $2500 to Chris Koster campaign September 29th 2012 which is 4 months after being sued by him... (let document load then search for chris riley or mark govero they are listed on top of each other)

The information stating a member of ownership of National Vehicle Protection Services, Chris Riley, stole $500,000.000 from US Fidelis is false. Chris Riley of National Vehicle Protection Services only happens to share the same name as Chris Riley, former CEO of US Fidelis. A quick google search of Chris Riley CEO of US Fidelis will confirm this information.

The fines being referred to in the report were issued to several companies in the business after the fall of US Fidelis. National Vehicle Protection Services has followed all regulations and has become a certified member of the Vehicle Protection Association, the first association to govern the industry.
