I was first contacted by a phone by a person who said his name was "Dave." Dave informed me that the extended warranty on my 1997 Dodge Ram 2500 truck was about to expire and wanted to know if I wanted to renew? Now I knew that my extended warrant was not about to expire, but that he had expired a few years earlier, but I said OK lets get it covered. We agreed on a plan and he took a payment of about $399 from me to get coverage started with 12 monthly payments of $291.

For about 3 monthis I had no problems and no reason to file a claim. Then in October I had troulble with the transmission. I took the vehicle to a local Dodge dealership and they contacted "National Vehicle Protection by phone at 800-526-0929 with an estimate for repair. At first they contacted a person who said his name was "Jose" who autorized the repair. While I had the vehicle in the shop I had them repair a few other problems before them became major.

10 December 2016 The Dodge Dealer called National Vehicle Protection with a final bill (for only the transmission repair not the rest of it) and National Vehicle Protection denied the claim stating that they had never authorized it in the first place. They were also told to not bother calling back because the case had been closed!

Bottom line I have paid a lot of money for a completely worthless extended vehicle warranty that is not worth the paper the card is written on. I can not warn people strongly enough to not waste their money with this ripoff of a company. I will be contacting and filing a FRAUD case with the Attorney General's Office of the states of NV and MO. both in hopes they can help rectify this problem.
