Received a call on my cell phone around 1:30pm EST asking for my wife.  Asked who was calling and then identified myself.  Caller gave me her name and said she was calling about my lapsed Auto Warranty, and asked if I still owned my 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe.  Was immediately put on hold, then Sara picked up and said it was her assistant that transferred me but she would see what she could do to get me back in coverage.  She confirmed I still owned the car, and then transferred me to a guy who asked how many miles were on it and if I had any issues, who then transferred me back to Sara.

Good news, because I said I didn't have any problems they could get me back into warranty on a 5 year / 100k mile plan for internally lubricated parts.  Their plan had a $100 deductible but included towing and rental car reimbursement.  All they needed was $395 now and $233/month for 12 months.

I told her I would need to talk to my wife and asked for a number to call her back.  She wouldn't give me a number but said she could conference my wife in.  I told her I couldn't reach her a few minutes before I recieved this call, so I knew she wouldn't answer.

I told her she wouldn't close me on this call, so if she wanted the deal at all I would need to get a number.  She responded we had already lapsed coverage and couldn't guarantee they would grant the exception again, so I can pay $395 by credit card now.  We went through the part of her script again where I wasn't going to make the decision without talking to my wife, she would conference her in, I had to buy now or miss out, but she did add there was a 30 day refund policy.

I then asked her to put me on their Do Not Call list.
