Complaint Review: National Warranty Services Center

I have received several calls from this number. I finally answered one day to see who kept calling. They claimed to be from the National Warranty Service Center but I quickly ran to the internet as they were talking and could find no internet site for them and no report of who's phone number it was when I used a reverse directory.

I interupted the man and asked him if he was from GM (general motors) and he stated he was. It was a lie! He did not even know the model and year of our car. He claimed he was "new".

He offered a "bumper to bumper" warranty but I had to make my first payment over the phone right now.

I asked to be sent information in the mail to review and was told they had done that several times and I must have ignored the mailings.

By this time I had done an internet search of their phone number and found numerous complaints about their manner on the phone and their refusal to provide identifying information.

I became more suspicious and told them I was not ready to make any decisions without something in writing.

They hung up on me!

Please beware of this company and anyone calling from this number. They appeared only after my payment information!
