Me, my Wife & Daughter went shopping at National Wholesale LiQuidators in Lodi, NJ. After we paid for the Merchandise we went to our SUV to put the bags in it. After we put them in we were getting in the truck (me on the passenger side)the man who collect's the shopping carts from the parking lot walk passed me & pushed me out of the way(I use a cane) & took the shopping cart and SLAMMED IT INTO the rear passenger door & left a BIG DENT & BIG SCRATCH on the door. A Lady & her Husband seen it happen. I went in side to talk to the Manager & he DIDN'T EVEN CARE. So I called the Lodi Police, they showed up & we went inside to talk to the Manager. I did not know there was a Off Duty Cop inside, He let us see the Video tape of the Lot & they seen the man push me & slam the cart into my door. The Manager wanted me to sign a paper saying I would settle it For $20. I said NO I wanted my Truck FIXED & he kept on saying take the $20 & i kept saying NO. The POLICE took the Report & put down the witnesses names & there statements. A few days Later I get a letter from the Store's attorney saying I had the DAMAGE BEFORE I GOT INTO THE LOT. I told them there was a Video Tape of the incindent & to my Surprise they said THERE WAS NONE. The only proof I had was my Wife, the people who seen it happen & the POLICE OFFICERS. I had to take them to Small Claims Court for $957 for damages. And they tryed to fight it but THEY LOST. It has been almost a year & all I have received is $175 from them. My Lawyer is taking them back to court.

Something is weird about this report. Once you won the judgement their insurance should have paid.
