National Wholesale Liquidators Rug Sale Rip-off ripoff consumer fraud Union New Jersey
My husband and I were lured into National Wholesale Liquidators "ONE DAY CARPET SALE" with the promise of "HAND-MADE ORIENTAL WOOL RUG LIQUIDATION" promising prices at "up to 70% off Department store prices everyday" and an extra 50% on October 1st.....they even went so far as to specify "no DEALERS, please" in their ads....we were SUCKERED.
Bought 2 rugs- neither are wool, neither are hand-made- you quickly realize that when you're there in person, but hoping to make the most of our 'just moved' budget, we purchased the two best ones we could find in our price range...imagine my chagrin when I returned home and- because I sensed a scam- searched the internet and found the EXACT models and makes for LESS on numerous websites!!!!!
We'll try to return both tomorrow- will keep you posted- but just know that the store is an extremely dishonest shop.
