I went on line to lower my bills.com to get reccomendations for a mortgage company to lower the interest rate on my mortgage. One of the companies they suggested was Nations Choice Mortgage. At the time I was going through divorce and had alot on my plate. J.R. Pelletier was assigned to my application. He had me jump through many hoops and faxing much paper work to him on more than one occasion and alot of the paper work was duplicate info. Just the faxing cost me in excess of $100.00. I also paid a $ 350.00 Application fee. This process lasted the better part of a year. When I had finally completed everything that J.R. had asked for he told that it should'nt take long to process. I never heard from him again. I did call to ask why and he said he was sorry that it had slipped past him and that he would get back to me. Again he never did. What a fitting name J.R.

"James"
This is J.R. Pelletier with NationsChoice Mortgage.
I am responding because a client of mine has just tipped me off that there is this report out there.
NationsChoice Mortgage is a direct lender and I am proud to work here. We offer loan products that no other lenders offer and provide creative and beneficial financing to hundreds of borrowers each year. I have been here for 3 years and have never been more satisfied with a company. I have worked for brokerage companies before. I work with this company because they provide me a easy way to do what I do best: help people with their finances with the best products and programs available.

James, I searched my entire database for every borrower with the first name of James and found none that were past the receipt of appraisal more than 4 months. There are some loan situations that drag out more than 60 days because of divorce decrees or pending legal matters, however, I have only had one in the past 3 years and his name was William. If this is you, then I apologise again for not being able to complete your loan. We have spoke, and I have informed you that until we finalize the divorce, we will not be able to complete your loan. You mentioned to me that we would reevaluate the loan as soon as you had the divorce decree and have not responded to the follow up voice mails that I left every month.

Again, NationsChoice Mortgage and myself pride ourselves on customer service. We also provide loan solutions that no other lender is capable of.
Anyone who would like to contact me directly is welcome to do so, I will be more than happy to answer any questions.
