I was contacted on my cell phone by a rep from NATIONS VOICE stateing that I was being considered for a positon with the company, that Nations Voice had gotten my resume from either career builder or monster.

The rep said I should go to the website and follow instructions and finish the employment app.

I filled out the employment app but when I discoverd I needed to download software onto my computer to take part in the tele conference I clicked out of the site and removed it from my bookmarks.

Now they have charged my verizon account 13.00 for this month, which is puzzleing because verizon will not even talk to me about my bill unless I give them several identifying facts, and if I subscribe or drop any services they record the information.

I put in a complaint to the federal trade commission inregad to the practice, and against Nations Voice.
if anyone has been "slammed by these voice mail services DO put in a complaint to the fedral trade commission it only takes a minute or two.

I am also going to put in a complaint to career builders and Monster inregard to the business practices of Nations Voice.

This is fraud for that company to put charges on your bill. Verizon should be able to remove it from your bill. If all fails, call the commission to report fraud.

On July 21 2006 I spoke with a verizon cs person as I was getting ready to pay my bill and did not want to pay the 13.0 charges for the Nations Voice voice mail.

I told the cs that I had filed a ripoff report regarding this matter and also a complaint with the Federal trade commission at www.ftc.gov.
I was told if the matter is not resolved and Nations Voice does not remove charges in 30 days Verizon will take care of the matter for me.
I was also told by the CS to put a BLOCK on my telephone bill so no one can add charges to my account. I did put the block on my account because I know that once one company slams you they sell your name to other companies.
