We have had a loan with Nationstar for 7 years, we took out our first mortgage on our house which was already paid for. They gave us a $33,000.00 loan to pay off a $3,000.00 medical bill which my husband had before we were even married. After we were married I was contacted out of the blue to pay this remaining balance in which neither one of us knew about. The hospital pressured us to get a loan through Nationstar, so we did. The thing is I was not even bringing home $200.00 a week and my husband was not working, but yet they gave us the loan and with the worse credit a couple could have. We have been paying $380.59 for 7 years and now this past year the payments have been fluctuating from $120.00 to almost $700.00. How on earth can they get away with this. They were going to foreclose on us in February, but I brought the payments to date and they even returned a $500.00 payment back to us and quoted that the payment was not satisfying our past due amount. What is it going to take to file a class action suit against this mortgage lender?
