Nationwide- AMC LLC Don't trust them for your appraisals! Newtown, Pennsylvania
I responded to an ad for an AE to call on mortgage lenders in Atlanta. I spoke with Matt Moore the president. He assured me they had appraisers everywhere and could offer a 72 hour turn time. I excepted the independent contractor position and called on my local contacts.
The first order I got were 2 commercial appraisals. I put the lender in touch with Matt and he promised he could do it for them in about 10 days. He got them to send $1000 up front. After 2 weeks it was hed to get in contact with Matt. He wouldn't give me his cell or any other company contact. He claimed there were complications and he need the remaining $1000 to get it completed. My client was increasingly anxious as they were in a time crunch. He even offer to pay for a rush. They paid the other $2000 because they needed the appraisal.
After 3 weeks Matt was invisible. He wouldn't respond to me or the client. The appraiser wasn't paid either.
It has now been more than 4 weeks and my client will have to pay someone else for another appraisal. They are very upset. I sit with egg on my face and still can't get my supposed EMPLOYER to call me back or respond. I hope they sue his a*s off.
Don't fall into this trap. I know Nationwide n- AMC is hiring in other areas but its all lies.

I worked at Nationwide-AMC until I retired in 2010. This is another Account Executive trying to push a value. I can assure anyone who reads this it is utter BS and a disgrace that this person has nother better to do. This person who wrote this needs to go back to pre-school before they send BS emails. Nationwide-AMC is an excellent AMC and is not worthly to be on this site!!!!

I've worked with Nationwide on 12 appraisals in the last month & have had nothing but good things to say about them. For starters, they didn't collect any fees from us up front, we only paid after the reports & the invoices had been sent in.
I know our appraisers were paid because we supplied Nationwide with a list of appraisers we work with & still maintain contact with. I found this post when researching the company last month, but called on the rep's references & decided to give them a shot after getting some solid referrals. I feel Nationwide has delivered & then some.
Not to be insulting, but this poster can't spell to save his life, so it's hard not to question his intelligence. I've dealt with scorned ex-employees who are full of bs in the past, that is why I felt the need to reply to this post.

To comment online to a free comment website and to slander a company's credibility yet not mention your company name, address and phone number only shows a person hiding.
