Don't ship a car with Nationwide Auto Transport. They take your money, then hire a transport company is this case HLL Express Auto Transport out of Texax. Bottom line; I shipped a brand new Mercedes SLK with 52 miles.

Brand new no damage. When it got to California there was damage. I got the run around. Nationwide took my money but told me I have to take it up with HLL Express. I received the car in California; it had damage. The driver changed the bill of lading when I signed for the car. I told him that my original said there was no damage; he said it was the middle of night in a snowstorm I could not see. I hired an attorney but was not able to recover my money. You can't win, my original bill signed by the driver had no remarks, but he hung up on me, returned by certified mail.

I finally gave up. All I can sign is that my car was brand new when it left Virginia, but didn't get to California that why. Nationawide Auto Transport refused to help me but they took my money.
