Nationwide Capital Funding, David Stanley Offered a $5,000.00 secured loan but after sending collateral money, no money was sent Ripoff Newton Massachusetts
On Monday, November 27, 2006, I received this email from David Stanley at Nationwide Capital Funding (with attachment)
NATIONWIDE CAPTIAL FUNDING
"Based on the review and accessment of your loan application for the requested amount of $2,500.00USD, on behalf of Nationwide Capital Funding,we Congratulate you, Ms. Yvonne Shine on the loan approval of $5,000.00USD.
Your assigned loan representative, Mr. David Stanley@1-866-646-4695 Ext#232 will contact you for further details.

Fax Department"
On Friday, December 1, 2006, after numerous phone conversations with Mr. Stanley, I sent the collateral money as instructed and was promised I would receive the loan in my checking account by Saturday, December 2, 2006. I received several calls from Mr. Stanley and 1 call from a woam who said she represented Nationwide and wanted to verify the information I sent confirming my advance payment. The woman said the money would be in my account by this morning but it has not been deposited. I have called them back because according to their website, they are open on Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. I have yet to receive a phone call from them.
Now I can't get my money back, nor do I have the loan.
Please do not believe that this is legitimate; they prey on people with bad credit who are desperate, but you will only be in more desperation if you deal with them.

How can I contact you? I have already begun proceedings against them, having filed a complaint with the FTC and the FBI. I also contacted a local television station network affiliate who is looking into exposing them. I spoke with the Massachusetts Attorney General's Office as well AND the Canadian police for the region sent me a link to report them to relevant authorities in Canada. That website is www.phonebusters.com.
I contacted the Newton PD who told me that I have to file with my local PD, which I plan to do in the next day or so. Thank you for the names of other DBAs that they are using to scam people. I will forward this information to the proper authorities as well.
Since we are not to list our email address, I don't know how to reach you, nor me. (( link redacted by ROR))
I am also contacting my local TV stations, particularly the ones that do Consumer Reports/Alerts. I am trying to get them exposed in the media as well as have them arrested, as they have broken quite a few laws nationally and internationally.
