 I was denied HUD housing for seniors because of detrimental information in my credit files. I was told by the VP of SPM Management in Birmingham Al, the management company for the HUD apartments I have to clean up my credit files before I could be approved. I contacted American Express Dispute department on 3 occasions, spoke with 4 different CSR's, was told it has been turned over to collections I have to contact them. I called Nationwide Credit Inc, sent faxes, filed online dispute forms, sent certified mail, & to this date I have not had any response to my enquiry and this was over a month ago. I also requested of American Express to send  copies of the statements. I was told by "Rochelle @ 800-874-2717 I would have the statements in a week to 10 days. Never received any communications from them. I have filed complaints with the BBB & the FTC.
