Nationwide Credit misrepresentation Kennesaw Georgia
This company sent me a bill for a past due amount with Dillard National Bank (a department store).
This bill was paid in full on 10/23/2006. They never sent me a settlement letter or proof that I paid them, as they are supposed to do.
When I received a notice from another agency, regarding the same account, I contacted Nationwide Credit and requested a letter proving this account was paid.
They were unable to locate the record of payment.
I sent them copies of my bank statement, which reflects the payment was made.
The suggested that I just need to send the same information to the other agency along with a cease and desist letter.
This whole affair could have been avoided if their record keeping would have been adequate and they would have acknowledged the payment to me and to Dillard National Bank.
Sloppy and very unprofessional is all I can say about this outfit!

As these companies are known to have many alias' so they can offer a 'settlement', then allegedly sell to someone else yet it is just another arm of themselves.
