Nationwide Energy Partners Overcharging because they can Columbus, Ohio

Nationwide Energy Partners is a "utility sub metering" company that signs contracts with local apartment complexes. The company then over charges clients in these apartments who have not other choice but to use this company. The owner of the complex probably receives a kick back and is complicit in this scam.

Others have complained on ripoff report, and BBB about the same issues.

I moved into a new apartment and have since been receiving bills that our double what they should be. If you are considering moving into "The Gramercy" and Kaufman Development, or any Lifestyles apartments in Columbus, Ohio beware! You will be forced to use this company, and you will receive excessive electric and water bills each and every month.

Stay away from these apartments and this energy company unless you have money to burn.
