The beginning of March 08 I received a call from a person saying they were from (my present phone company) saying that the company had a new business phone plan they wanted to put me on. I ask at least times during the conversation if they were in fact from (my present phone company). Each time, of course, the sales person said YES. When I agreed to the "money sayings" plan I was passed on to the 3rd party verification system. Before the sales person passed me on to the 3rd party verification system they told me that I would be hearing some "code" terms that they use and that was normal for the plan I was going under.

As you can already guess the person was not from (my present phone company) they were from Nationalwide Long Distance Services. I received a bill that basically doubled my previous bill. I immediately called up (my present phone company) to complain and have them take the charges off which they did. They did say, though, that Nationwide LD Services might try and get me to pay for the charges.

I have called up to complain to Nationwide LD Services and I have called up the FCC and filed a formal compaint about fraudulant practices.

Fool me once shame on you. It will not happen a second time.
