Nationwide Mediation Firm Ripoff/Threatening Phone Calls Encino, California
They called my place of work, in which I am a teacher and spoke to my Principal and told her that I am being served today if I did not call back. I called back and was told that if I did not pay this amount of money I would have to go to court and that they are being nice since I am being a teacher and holding off serving me. The case number was a bogus one and the company also.
I could not find either in our county directory. I confronted them on this and that was when they got mean. Then they were nice and said if I just paid the $600, they would wave the $1500 attorney fees. I asked why they were calling from a toll free number instead of a local number and then they were mean again. I was told they take post dated checks or visa mastercard. I kept saying do not give my banking information over the phone. PLease do not fall for this scam. They do not deserve any money from anyone!!

My mom received a call from a rep of this company, she left a number for me to call said it was important that I get in touch with them. Well I called them and she told me that I had a payday loan with Ace Cash Express. I told her that i had filed banruptcy and she said it didn't matter it was a criminal case. Well, of course I got scared, asked her for Ace number and she refused give that information to me. She stated that they wouldn't have that information in their system. She then stated that she would send an email to me with all of the information but no email. Called Ace Cash Express and there was no loan in the system under my ssn. So I am thru with them, they had all of my information. Something has to be done about this hacking into systems and calling threating to take innocent people like myself to jail.
