I am in complete utter shock at the way this company has treated me. I decided to go with them in the beginning because they gave me a great quote for 900$ to move me and my very small load from Miami to LA. They "guaranteed" it would not exceed this price. On moving day I was not there to deal with them, my boyfriend said he would take care of it for me since I was already out of the state. He calls me frantic after they packed everything up saying it is now going to cost $1500.

I told him that is unacceptable and to give me the reason why it was so much more. All the driver could tell him was my boxes were bigger than they expected...lie. I used standard shipping boxes from Uhaul that are clearly marked small medium large. The driver said he would unload everything off the truck...but for an extra 500$. Of course. So I told him to just take the load and I would contact the company to understand why I was being charged so much more. 

I called them right away, do you think I got thru to someone? Of course not. "We will have our supervisor contact you right away" No call back. I called everyday for almost 2 weeks trying to get an understanding of why the price went up to high. The day before I am supposed to be in LA and have everything moved in I call them one more time. I finally speak to Mike the "manager". He then tells me maybe If I had met him for a date before I left Florida that none of this would have happened. Are you joking me? I asked him repeatedly why I was being charged almost 600$ more, he kept putting me on hold hanging up calling back, this went on for HOURS!

Trying to enjoy my last night with my family Mike decides to call back at 9pm and say "ok I will give you 200$ off" I said ok but I still want to know why it is over the quoted price, he says it is what is and if I dont want to pay them they will bring all my stuff back to Florida and I can "figure out my own d**n way to get it back to La" in those exact words. At this point I am livid and we get into a heated argument because all I want to know is why its 1500$ and I cant get a straight answer, when he then says "no discount for you...now you are going to have to pay 1500$." 

Is this really how this company treats their customers that pay them all this money? It is now almost 11pm and I am tired of arguing, I feel like they are going to screw me over so I just say FINE! I just want my items to get there safely. Do you think that happened? OF COURSE NOT

Days later when I get to LA the moving company shows up. Of course I have to pay them cash before anything gets taken off the truck. The moving guys are NOT professional. Carrying my tv over his head. Dragging boxes on the ground. Well what do you know, my TV is completely smashed. My dressers are both completely broken. And they just left them in the middle of the room for me to try and move them back down to the garbage by my little ol' self. The driver then tells me 4 boxes are missing. IS THIS ANOTHER JOKE!!! 4 boxes?!?! Missing or stolen is the question?!

He told me to call Nationwide Movers back immediately and report it. Of course I did. Why should I pay for all this stuff by the square foot just to have it come back broken or missing. It has now been 2 weeks since Im moved in. I have called them everyday, emailed endlessly. Do you think Ive had any response back yet? Mike did answer one time last week and said he talked to the driver and the driver said nothing was missing which is another LIE. The driver even made me write on the invoice what was broken and missing.

So Mikes says he would "work on my claim and getting me a refund and promised to call me back that day". Still have heard nothing. I am devestated. Out a lot of money and the most expensive things are broken or missing. This is the worst customer service Ive ever experienced. They are so rude, not helpful, and thieves! How do 4 boxes go missing? How is everything broken?! And I STILL do not know why I was charged so much more. I am irate and will contacting my lawyer and have already contacted the Better Business Bureau. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY BY ANY MEANS THEY ARE SCAM ARTISTS!!!!!!
