Nationwide Moving, Inc. IS NOT North American Nationwide Movers.
Nationwide Moving, Inc. was based in Miami Florida, now based in Brooklyn NY, also doing business as Eagle Van Line, Inc, based in Jersey City, NJ.

Delivery was promised 3 days after pick up, on a Friday. Driver did not call, dispatch office would not answer phone, and coordinator, "Randy (girl)" would hang up on me everytime I called to find out the status of my household belonging.

Driver finally showed up on Monday (6 days after pickup) at 12:30 pm demanding an additional $300 over the amount due upon
delivery ($575). Driver refused to pull into the parking lot, keeping his truck (Eagle Van Lines DOT# 1020928, truck #330 with Oklahoma Plate 254-9EX) on the main street. Refused to open the truck to show that my belongings were in fact on the truck.

Driver "Johnathan (Arab-Male)" was very abusive and threatening to do personal injury as well as leave with the truck. We called to the police. Police stated this was a "Civil Matter" and they could not do anything to the driver to make him unload the shipment.

We ended up paying $855.00 to get the driver to open the truck to view the shipment. Once we agreed it was our stuff the police had to escort the driver into the parking lot and supervise the unloading of the stuff.

The driver talked on his cell phone to someone named Victor Bracha (don't know if that is his real name) and Victor told him to finish as quickly as possible, get the paperwork signed and get out of there. The police watched the entire unloading to make sure he didn't willfully damage the household goods.

The driver refused to give his name, show his driver's license, or any identification to the police or us. His boss "Victor" refused to give any information about the company, Nationwide Moving, Inc. or Eagle Van Lines.

I've done my research today and here is the info I was able to track down;

Eagle Van Line, 109 Bay Street, Jersey City, NJ , DOT# 1020928, MC# 428271, with a tractor trailer with markings delivered the household goods.

Nationwide Moving, Inc. (NOT NATIONWIDE, a division OF NORTH AMERICAN) at 539 Wortman Ave, Brooklyn NY 11208 and another address for them is: 28830 NE 23rd Ave, Miami, FL 33180, with DOT# 971993 and MC# 411763

I have contacted the very legitimate company Nationwide of North American and reported this other extortion artist company.

Please report this company to the appropriate Attorney General of your state if you've had dealings with either Nationwide Moving, Inc or Eagle Van Lines. Known states of operation, New York, New Jersey, North Carolina.

Eagle Van Lines Moving & Storage is NOT Nationwide Moving, Inc.

Eagle Van Lines is NOT Nationwide Moving, Inc.  This is a case of stolen identity. Nationwide Moving stole our USDOT number and used our clean record to perform legitimate moves. Obviously, Nationwide Moving, Inc. misrepresented themselves more than once, pretending to be a North American Van Lines operator.

We take these claims very seriously. This was never a move that we performed nor was it one we booked.  We have NEVER associated with Nationwide Moving, Inc.
