I booked a long distance move with this company. I had done my homework and checked out their credentials and rating with the Better Business Bureau and the length of time they had been in business as well as their DOT Licensing.

We agreed upon a price and that my things would be picked up on July 20th. We also agreed that my things would arrive either on July 26th or 10 days from that day.

The week following the 26th of July I contacted them to get an idea on when my things should arrive because I had not heard anything from them.  A female rep answered the phone and stated that my things should be on their way (but I could tell something was not right). I asked her where the truck was and I found it odd that she didn't offer to contact dispatch so I asked her to be transferred and I was and got no answer.

I waited a few days and called again and got a message stating the phone lines were down. I continued to call for a week and still got the same thing. I sent an email to the rep that had taken care of my order and no response.

Finally I got through to someone today who told me they were no longer in business and that he has been getting several phone calls and that the owner had the lines transferred to his cell phone (he states he is a former manager).

He stated that the owner knew what he was doing because he was no longer accepting credit card or money order on pick up and told his employees to tell customers cash only on pick up.

He stated that everyone's belongings are in a storage facility but he is not sure which one and that the police are involved. I contacted their precinct and they told me this is not a criminal matter which makes no sense to me because several customers have paid for their things to be moved and now we have no information on what has happened to our precious belongings or where to go.

There are at least 40 others being affected (I am sure that number can easily double or triple). The scary thing is that this business was recognized by the Better Business Bureau (not accredited, but they had an A grade) and they had been in business for years.

There is very little as of now on the internet in regards to this scam, but I am sure it is just a matter of time.

I too was scammed by this moving company had 400 dollars stolen from me and have no idea where my things are.  it has been over 2 weeks and the only person I can get in touch with is Victor a former manager of the company who said when he went to work 2 weeks ago the entire warehouse was empty and everyone in it was gone ... I'm so upset I had several family hierlooms and personal items in that move!!  Are the police going to help?  Was anyone able to get in touch with the Attorney General?  Please call me text me email me if this happened to you we need to work together to find our things and bring justice to these assholes who put us in this mess.  Samantha Campbell sfcampbel336 (at) gmail (dot) com

I'm so sorry to hear that you too have been victimized by these crooks. I truly feel your pain and I believe that there is still hope but we need to all get together. Unfortunately we cannot exchange info on this site. Check out yelp dot com and put nationwide moving in the search section and you should be able to pull up other complaints along with contact info from other victims. Also, if you have connected with any other victims please forward them the contact information. There is power in numbers!!!!1

I am so sorry to hear that you are going through this...I know how you feel.  At the same time I am relieved that I am not the only one!  I am scared, feel violated and will not allow them to get away with this.  I have been dealing with Ben (aka Victor) Seigal, Kathy and Shiloh.  My belongings are supposedly in a warehouse in Brooklyn but I am out of the state.  There has to be something we can do!  I just wanted you to know you are not alone and I am now going to file a report as well!
