I recieved a phone call from an unknown number so I answered it thinking it was one of my friends. It was a young girl who was very personable, she told me that she was doing a survey for consumers on credit cards.

She then asked me what credit card I thought was the best in the consumer market, I told her visa. She then started to thank me for my time and told me that for my time her company would sign me up for a chance to win 25,000.00

At this point suddenly the phone was transfered with no prompting to a man who stated that his name was Daryl Cardy, and he was the manager. He told me that he just wanted to ask me about his employee's customer service and communication skills.

He asked how is she doing? Was I pleased with her treatment of me during our conservation, I told him that she was very professional.

Then he began to go into a long spew on how they were now going to enter me in the drawing for 25,000 dollars and how they were going to send me a free diamond watch.

The watch of course came with the subscription to magazines of my choice for 3.24 a week. and that was it. then he started talking in circles and every time I would ask a question he would say yes and then confuse me some more.

He then prompted me to repeat his answers back to him and told me that was going to record our call with the pretense of documentation. Then he asked for my credit card number, I hesitated and he got a little pushy, then he asked for my debit card number I told him no, I do not feel comfortable.

He then asked for my social and I said No, then I asked for written documents for his company, this is on his little tape recorder. finally for some reason I decided this was a great deal and it would save me money.

I only gave him my credit card number , and told me that my watch would be in the mail. I got a letter from them asking me to sign but no watch and the money 62.34 was taking out of my account.

The total bill when all is said and done 988.00. I should have seen all the red flags, but I was exhausted from work and nursing school.

I decided to look on line and in 2002 three men were arrested in Arizona and charged for running a scam under the "nationwide reader service". I wonder if there is a correlation? Any who I am now bling-less and penny-less, what can I do?

This past Monday I received a call from a unknown number.  Which I thought was very weird cause I never get unknown calls so I figured I would answer.  A young lady gave me the same stuff like she did you about money and a Ford GT.  So I listened to her and I felt this intuition come over me like something was up.

I once did something close to this "idea" but I got what I paid for and it was actually worth it.  She passed me along to her "supervisor" asked me if she was nice or not and if she helped me by giving me "valuable information".  So sense she seemed nice I said " yes she was very nice".  Then he gave me some speech, which seemed like he was reading it or it was a script.  So I said o.k. only 4.99?? sounds like a great deal for a month and how many months?? He tried confusing me.

When I told him I only have $11.00 is my account so its only $4.99 right? he said yes.  So I said ok.  He started rushing me and had me do some recording thing which seemed like some false recording just how it sounded like it was a tape recorder. He told me "I'll run it through and let you know".  So I was telling him I changed my mind and then he abruptly hung up on me!  Can you imagine how aggravating it is?

So I called the number he gave me.  The lady whom answered said " There's nothing we can do at this time sense your we don't have you information. You have to call in the nexted 24 to 48 hours."  What?? Are you joking? I'm pretty sure that my information is in a data base.  I got very mad when I checked my account and I was billed for 68.99 and because of that my account went negative.  First thing I did was call my lawyer and had to change my account information.  Changed my number. Its a huge mess now.

I have a 7day grace which I was told about from there company so hopefully this is resolved and my funds are back to my account.  I still don't see why they have to pressure people into buying things to take there hard earned cash.  The best part was the "employee and supervisor" whom gave me there names and employee numbers supposively didn't work there. I cant wait til this mess is cleaned up.  It stress I didn't need at the moment.

WEll first of all your company is just a big scam ok and second of all there should not be any reason that the customer should not be able to cancel the subscription when it hasn't even been sent to them. Your so called company called me and the man on the phone new that i was having a hard time hearing him but yet did not repeat every thing he had said to me i just had a baby in january and then last month your company decided to call me from a unknown number what kind of company are you if you cant give out a real number?? I looked for the address they put on my letter and its not real it was a Thalia Chiropractic Ctr hmm wonder does your company really exist i highly doubt it and you wont be getting my money my lawyer will be taking care of that for sure.

Your "daryl cardy"

#4UPDATE Employee

Thu, August 28, 2008

i won't correct the spelling of his name, but I do know "daryl". He is actually my friend and one of the best employees in my office. the first person you talk to is selling you something and you agreed to it. the second person was their superviser, not leading you to believe you're going to win the sweepstakes, just finishing up your order. you agreed for the order, there is no way for you to cancel it because he specifically says do not cancel and is that agreeable with you. you said yes.

maybe if you listen to whats being said to you you would understand. you might as well suck it up because those payments are going to keep coming out.

Also, it has nothing to do with those guys in arizona.
